A collaboration between technologists and the community

A Tech Residency

We’re enlisting a group of student trailblazers who are interested in working in the intersection of tech and civic engagement. At Civic Tech Camp, you’ll be working to solve existing social issues by co-designing solutions that benefit your community. Project focus areas will be on the Climate Crisis, Gender Equality and Economic Empowerment.

Techies-In-Residents apply to become part of a 30-week civic solution project cohort. The projects are pre-vetted based on a.) its potential market impact (Who is affecting this issue at large?) and b.) as a response to a relevant need (Why now?). During the program, you will work under the guidance of industry experts and innovation coaches.

Open to university students and early career alums who are working in the Tech space (Software Engineering, Data Science, Product Design and Product Management.)
